Numerosos estudios epidemiológicos han señalado la existencia de problemas emocionales y dificultades de reincorporación a niveles adecuados de comportamiento habitual en pacientes que han sufrido un infarto de miocardio. La existencia de estos problemas justifica la necesidad de intervención psicológica en estos pacientes. En el presente articulo, a través de un estudio de caso, se ejemplifica la aplicación de un programa cognitivo-conductual para la rehabilitación de un paciente post-infarto de miocardio.
